Join the Volunteer Movement:
Become a Hope Community Center After School Tutor
Small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s life, from listening to a friend in need to participating in a community cleanup. Every action, no matter how small, contributes to the greater good.
At Hope CommUnity Center, we believe in fostering diverse, empowered, and resilient learning communities that drive personal and societal transformation.
Our commitment to community translates into new actions that contribute to the growth of everyone, no matter who you are or where you come from. We believe education is a global language and should be available to everyone.
Here, we explore the profound impact that volunteering has on individuals and communities and show how volunteering can change lives. In this case, tutoring children will give you a sense of gratitude and happiness as you help make the world a better and brighter place.
Are you passionate about education?
Take this opportunity to make a difference by becoming an after-school tutor for elementary school-aged children in our community.
Our after-school tutoring program presents an exceptional opportunity for you to get involved. We offer in-person and virtual tutoring sessions, allowing you to choose the most convenient format.
Your role as a tutor will be under the guidance of the Director of Academic Support and the Academic Support Assistant. Together, we can provide these young students with a supportive and enriching environment that will positively impact their academic success and personal growth.
Inspire young minds
Our after-school tutoring program offers a unique opportunity, allowing you to be part of this transformative journey. As a volunteer tutor, you can make a lasting impact on the lives of elementary school-aged children, no matter their social, cultural, economic, or educational background.
As you embark on this new journey, keep in mind that tutoring groups can be diverse. From one-on-ones to small groups of 3-4 students. We also want to remind you that one-on-one tutoring will take place in a COVID-19-safe environment.
