Position Overview:

Assist in supporting the Chief of Staff with community partner events and human resource functions.

Primary Job Functions

  • Organize job descriptions and HR policy and procedures
  • Maintain timesheets, and monitor vacation and sick time
  • Working with departments to help create program manuals
  • Update Employee handbook
  • Receive resumes for open positions and schedule interviews
  • Organizing events

Requirements:

  • Good telephone and communication skills
  • Able to work virtually and on site when asked.
  • Six month to one year commitment
  • Able to give 8 to 10 hours per week
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, outlook, Teams and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of running logistics for Event planning
  • Filing and managing confidential information
  • Human Resource knowledge is a plus.
  • Bilingual/Trilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, Creole) is beneficial
  • Self Starter
